Omnikin, Super Balls and Super Games

Omnikin/Kin-Ball is a great unit to help students learn cooperation, sharing and teamwork through low organized games while staying physically active. The sport of Kin-Ball, is a team sport created in QuebecCanada in 1986 by Mario Demers, a physical education professor, in which the main distinctive characteristics are the big size of the ball and that the matches are played between three teams at the same time. 




Agility Circuit Training on Fitness Day

Students at Stevenson are learning the importance of fitness and physical activity into their daily routines, while they take part in fitness activities one day a cycle. This term all classes are focused on agility training, circuit training and a variety of exercises using our fitness posters.

Volleyball Clinic with Scott Koskie

The students at Stevenson had the pleasure to learn some valuable volleyball skills during a clinic presented by Scott Koskie. Scott was a former team Canada player, he played professional volleyball over in Europe and now works for Volleyball Cananda at the U of M.  Students learned how to volley, spike and serve during the clinic and they all applied there skills to a volleyball game at the end of the class.
