Cross Country District Meet 1 

The First Cross Country District meet was held on Sept. 17, (4:00 pm) at the Bourkevale Commnunity Club. All Stevenson runners had an excellent race. Noah R. came in first place for the grade 5 boys.

The next District race will be on Sept. 24, at the Bourkevale Community Club. Please make sure all participants are ready to race by 4:00 pm and don't be late. All student athletes need to have their own ride to the meet or arrange a ride to get there.
Students will be bussed to the Divisional Meet on Oct 2 at Assiniboine Park.

Stevenson Britannia Grade 4/5 Cross Country Running Program

The grade 4/5 cross country running season will begin in early September. The season is short and all students are welcome to join the team. The students will have the opportunity to run in 2 district meets against Brooklands, Linwood and Assiniboine Schools. The district meets are to help condition the students for the final meet with each run being a bit further distance, to help prepare them for the SJAEYAA Divsional meet in early October at Assiniboine park. All practices will be at lunch from 12:10-12:40 and the District and Divisional meets will be after school.  Students will be bused to and from the event if they need a ride. I will post dates and times of the meets once finalized. Mr. McKinnon will send home permission forms in early September.
